![]() It is the world's largest grower of watercress and one of America's oldest family farmers. Started in 1870, B&W attributes its success to a single premise of quality. Everything we do, from seasonal farms in six states to sanitation and safety programs throughout our operations, is based on fulfilling our goal to always be the best in quality. |
| To ensure
freshness we have developed unique growing, harvest and post-harvest systems
that maximize freshness, flavor and nutrition. To ensure cleanliness and sanitation, B&W employs a comprehensive HACCP program and on-site microbiology lab to monitor quality at every level of our operation. To capitalize on growing conditions we grow in Florida from November through May. In the summer we shift north and base growing operations in Alabama and West Virginia. The result is abundant supplies of quality watercress on a year-round basis. From the B&W family to yours, we encourage you to eat at least five servings of fruits and vegetables every day and hope that at least one of them is watercress. "Turn over a New Leaf for Life! Eat more Watercress!" |
